Bruce appears to have done a good job of the guttering. However, after promising to make good the connection between the conservatory guttering and the new down pipe both before commencing the job and afterwards he did NOT follow through and we had to get someone else.
Bruce is everything you want in a contractor. He didn’t nothing for me, but everything. He came around when he said he would and looked at my roof issue and gave me a contact for someone else. The most honest and straight up tradesman. I would call him again in a heartbeat. For his wonderful service he wanted no money at all. I can’t thank him enough.
I contacted Advance Guttering and Roofing after I had used several other roofing companies to repair a roof that was never properly fixed. Bruce and his team came out and repaired the roof in a very timely manner and they also did a few extra bits and pieces and still came in within the quoted price. Quick to quote, very slow to do the work and when it’s done it’s not great. I’ve used this company twice. The first time was a full replacement of all our spouting. They were the quickest to quote which we accepted the following day and was told they would be in contact to arrange the installation date. They never contacted us and finally after repeated emails and calls the job was done. The installation team were good and friendly. This was a few years ago and we’ve found that our spouting overflows (right above our entranceway) in heavy rain (insufficient capacity in the spouting) and some areas don’t have sufficient fall which causes water to back up and become stagnant in the spouting. I contacted them in January I about adding an additional down pipe. Again they were very quick to respond; around the following day to quote. We accepted the quote in February and now 4 months later they’ve still not done the work and there’s been no contact. I’m going elsewhere.
