Great car rental service company! Their cars are well-maintained. Process to get and return the cars are hassle-free. They do shuttle service to pick you up and drive you to the airport. Cheap rental prices! We rented the secret car which turned out to be Kia Stonic. We opted for the full insurance which made the price go a bit high but was able to drive with confidence especially on a new country. This is a great car rental company.
A fabulous experience - from our pickup in Queenstown to drop off at Christchurch airport. A great little Mazda CX30, fuel efficient and didn’t miss a beat after 12 days of driving. Booked it through Amex and was reasonable price, unlimited kilometres and only had to refuel at the end. Really lovely staff ar both sites. Would recommend company and great little car
We had a great experience. We rented directly through their website and went to pick up the day we were leaving Christchurch. The attendant worker behind the counter was incredibly helpful! We were upgraded from our original choice, which wasn't going to fit our suitcases. So that was really lucky. The Kia sportage was clean and ran beautifully. The attendant also helped us to adjust our rental agreement to get a better price to keep the car an additional day to avoid the one way drop off fee, which saved us money, added an additional driver for free, and took off tolls since we didn't need them in the south island. We booked full coverage to protect ourselves for any situation. We had no problems dropping the car off in Queenstown with a full tank of gas. Great experience. We were lucky to even get a car since I booked last minute during the Easter holiday week and a lot of cars were sold out. Thank you! We forgot his name, but whoever was working the desk April 10th morning, so kind and helpful! And even gave us a phone stand for the vent to hold up the phone in the car.
Really pleased with our rental car and experience here! We used the shuttle service from the airport. Staff were friendly and pick up was smooth. Returned our car to Queenstown Ace Rental due to our travels, so can’t comment on drop off for Ace Christchurch with that. Overall, would recommend!
Was nice to have an upgraded rental car. I'm very happy with it. However, customer service was not a highlight. Waited a we while to be served. There was staff behind desks. Finally, we were asked and answered a couple of questions about hiring, then got a detailed summary of the insurance policy. Felt like we had done wrong before we started. Then, I was just given the keys with no induction of car. Asked about setting up bluetooth, but again, no help offered. As said earlier, nice car, poor service. 😢
