We had a wonderful stay at Aalton Motel. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and kind from the moment we arrived.
Our apartment was spotless, very clean, and well maintained. The motel felt comfortable and homely, making it easy to relax and feel at home during our stay.
The location is excellent! Super close to fantastic restaurants, beautiful Hagley Park, and the city centre, making it easy to explore Christchurch without travelling far.
Highly recommend Aalton Motel and would happily stay here again. 10/10! 😊

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional Hospitality – A Perfect End to Our Holiday!
We had an absolutely wonderful stay here! The 2-bedroom unit was fantastic, complete with a full kitchen and a very convenient separate toilet and shower setup. After two weeks of traveling, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and we had the best night’s sleep.
What truly sets this motel apart, though, is the incredible hospitality from the owners, Manav and Kanika. Standard check-in isn't until 2:00 PM, but since we had to drop off our campervan early, they kindly let us drop off all of our luggage ahead of time so we didn't have to lug it around.
Also ,, Since our flight wasn’t until 4:30 PM the next day, we asked if we could extend our checkout by two hours. They initially mentioned a small $20–$30 fee, which we were more than happy to pay, but the next day they generously waived the charge and didn't bill us for the extra time at all! They went above and beyond to accommodate us.

Great stay! The hotel is in a fantastic location, close to plenty of restaurants, cafes, and bars. The staff were very friendly and provided excellent service throughout our stay. They kindly accommodated our late check-in, which we really appreciated. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The man next door was dieing and kept us up with his constant vomiting coffing and bow movement for the week we were there, the bed was the hardest bed ive ever tryed to slept on and so that and the guy next door didn't get much sleep, but the location is great and the staff are super friendly and helpful . You get what you pay for and we were mostly happy with the room but there was no smoke alarm in our room and had a heater or something broken lay on the floor plug wasn't in but still a big fire hazard if someone did plug it in by mistake ,would I go bad maybe 4.3/10

Good location. Terrible hygiene and cleanliness. Room smelled like mold, glasses had lipstick marks, heater was so loud we could not use it, especially when sleeping. What the heck is going on!
